pour a phrase, get a colorway — from The Weavery, Huntington Handwoven
One phrase, one river. The phrase picks the river (same phrase, same colors, forever, on any machine). Yarns is how many dye lots the census resolves. Coherence is a zoom over the river — high lingers in the headwaters, low rushes downstream; the colors never re-mix, only their attendance changes. The recipe below is the whole address: copy it, text it to someone, and their pour will match yours to the last thread.
The WIF opens in any weaving program (Fiberworks, WeaveIt, The Weavery’s own Import): straight draw on four shafts, 2/2 twill tie-up, your poured colors thread by thread — and the recipe rides inside the file’s notes, so the draft carries its own address. Deterministic all the way down: FNV-1a hash → mulberry32 → a damped walk in OKLab with a mid-value spring, clustered by k-means into dye lots on a canonical river. Four billion rivers; your vocabulary is the map. Keep the codes you love — they are addresses, and they never expire.
